Find the slopes of the medians of a triangle whose vertices are P(1, 3), Q(3, 5), and R(6, 2). (Use fraction formats.) median to QR: m = median to PR: m = median to PQ: m =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find slope just take (y1-y2)/(x1-x2) so for PQ it would be (3-5)/(1-3) which it would equal -1 just rinse and repeat with the other 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i could be doing it totally wrong but i tried that and the program that grades my stuff wont accept the answers i come up with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are you coming up with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

QR= -1 PR= -1/5 PQ= -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause the way you explained it was how the lesson explained it but i must be doing something wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

opps when i sent the orig back i didnt cancel the dbl negative pq should be 1 not -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad =p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its all good =]] yea i reworked it and put that in the box and it rejected that to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
