Then graph the equation and use the graph to determine the sugar consumption in the year 1991. I have wrote the equation like this: Equation: s=(t-1975)/2+30 if t = 1991 then, s=1991-1975/2+30 s=16/2+30 s=8+30 s=38 Is this right so far? I am also having trouble graphing this equation.

I am having trouble setting the equation up to graph it.
well draw a table of years from 1975 to say 2020 has heads of columns in steps of sat 5 years and have a row below it with the sugar cosumption starting with 30 for 1975. make the years the horizontal axis and consumption vertical. Then plot the points. the graph will be a straight line.
