First put it in y=mx+b form.\[y=-x-2\] Let me know if you need help on that step.

Then you have your slope = -1, and y-intercept = -2
So you have one point so far: (0,-2)
One way you can finish the graph right now is to use the slope (in this case, move over 1 and down 1), but more straightforward:

Find the x-intercept:
\[0=-x-2\]
\[x=-2\]

Now you have your second point (-2,-0)

So plot your two points: (-2,0) and (0,-2) and draw a straight line through them
