Tricky question! Evaluate if possible. If not, state why. Sin[sin-1<(inverse of sin) 1.1]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

cant really tell what the problem is stateing

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you might need to rewrite it to clear it up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sin[sin-1 1.1]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\(sin(sin^{-1}(1.1))\) like this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its just 1.1 then the sin^-1 gives you back an angle, and then the sinfunction translates it back to a ratio. Its like going to the store and then coming back home; you end up where you left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks! i have another one.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is it posted yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no doing it now
