can anyone graph this line for me? 3x-2y=-4

OpenStudy (angela210793):

1st take x=0 and find y....-2y=-4->y=2 A(0;2) 2nd. take y=0 and find x.....3x=-4---> x=-4/3 B(-4/3;0) all u have to do is join the dots....

angela is absolutly correct, find the intercepts n joining the points :)

OpenStudy (angela210793):

There's a theorem abt that actually (is just that idk it in english )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theorem about what?

OpenStudy (angela210793):

dy pika caktojne nje drejtez :P

OpenStudy (angela210793):

let me see if i can translate it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awww :D put it in google translator:p

OpenStudy (angela210793):

lol..i know...but it won't make sense

OpenStudy (angela210793):

see.....Both designate a line item..O.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what would the 2 points be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then just leave it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two points are the intercepts of the line

OpenStudy (angela210793):

A(0;2) and B(-4/3;0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where it cuts the two axes

OpenStudy (angela210793):

yea i left it ;) :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

join them n get the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

arrange them first in -3x-4 - y = ------ 2 3x+4 y = ------ then graph it 2 then assign in x any value like x= 0,1,2,3,4,5 etc then graph y and the x coordinates
