find the second derivative of the function: f(x) = (x^3-2x)^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my real problem is what the 4th power and expanding the brackets i know how to find th derivative

myininaya (myininaya):

f'=4(x^3-2x)^3 * (3x^2-2) expanding the brackets?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldn't do that. use product rule make you life easier

myininaya (myininaya):

f''=4*3(x^3-2x)^2*(3x^2-2)*(3x^2-2)+4*(6x)(x^3-2x)

myininaya (myininaya):

ooops that last parthesis i left out a third power

OpenStudy (anonymous):

myininaya you are a calculating machine!

myininaya (myininaya):

i wish you are the best not me :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):
