OpenStudy (amistre64):

y = \(\pm \sqrt{{98\over2}}\)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

+- 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does that other one say y=+-(sqrt) of what

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y = +- sqrt(98/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 98

OpenStudy (anonymous):

84 + 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add seven from both sides so now you have 2y^2=98. Divide both sides by 2 and get y^2=49. Square root both sides and get 7.
