m angle A is about

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the sine rule 29/sine 42 = 36/ sine A sin A = (36 * sin 42) / 29 A = 56.2 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am a little confuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You don't have right angles so you have to use another method (Sin A)/a=(Sin B)/b a is the line opposite angle A, etc, same can be done for (Sin C)/c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how can i set it up by using this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Sin A)/a=(Sin C)/c Plug in info and find Sin A, and then A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the angle that i know is 42

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The angle you know is angle C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that mean sin42/29=sinA/36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Jimmyrep, did it differently, he did a/sinA =c/sinC, but it equal to same thing. Do it both ways to check.
