can someone help me on y=mx+c and how to get the gradient of a line and and the point wheer it cuts the y axis

y=mx+c is a form of a linear graph the 'm' tells you the gradient and the 'c' is x co ordinate when the graph cuts the y-axis you can find the gradient by using two points of the graph, the difference in the y co ordinates divide by the difference in the x co ordinates is the gradient or simply put- dy/dx is the gradient
