I thought that was the answer too
It isn't
\[30^{0} 28^{'} 10^{"}\]final answer is
because 70" is equal to 1' 10"
How do you get the correct answer? That is what i'm stuck on
<30 15' 30"
1degree = 60' and 1 minute = 60"
Hey Nancy, how did u get yr answer??
Anything wrong in what I have done??
<ROS +<SOT =30 segment RO =15" segment OT =30 "
<ROS +<SOT=<ROT
No, I understand that 1° = 60' and that 1' = 60" but- I just don't get how to get the answer >.<
< is mean angle
I'm super confused-
< is mean angle, not >
See alexone, while adding angles u hv to add degree to degree, minute to minute and second to second
On doing so, u get 30 degree, 27 minutes and 70 seconds
But 60 seconds = 1minute so, 70 seconds = 1 minute n 10 seconds so we add this minute to the minute column and get 28 minutes n 10 seconds
no not minut , <ROS +<SOT + ROT and <ROT have segment RO and OT RO = 15' OT=30"
So final answer is 30 deg 28 min 10 sec Is tht the answer in the key??
angle is 30 I postive
No it's correct I did it and got the same
alexone u have a key or u know what exactly ' and " ?
No key- I know what ' and " is
than I don't know
' means minutes and '' means seconds it finally means <ROS=20 degrees,15minutes and 40seconds since <ROT=<ROS+<SOT, then it bcoms 30degree,27 minutes and70 seconds but 70 seconds is minute and 10 seconds add that 1minute to 27 it bcums 28minutes and 10 seconds so final answer is 70degrees28'10"
@ thrylokya how did u get 70 degree ??????
m <ROS = 41° 12', m <ROT = 62° 8' 12" now... I got 103° 20' 12" what do I do to get the final answer?
I am trying my BEST to understand this haha
This is the final answer, no further simplification required
Are you sure? the 103 isn't too large or anything? In any case the when adding the ° 's it's always the same?
