Would anyone be interested in a quick tutorial on how to use a free graphing software called geogebra? It can graph anything, solve equations, find roots, distances between points, etc. Anything from algebra through calculus is possible. If interested, let me know and I can set up a demo.
\[yes\]
sure
better than maple or wolfram?
NOTE: geogebra is FREE and runs on all operating systems. Also, it can do ANYTHING you would find in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Is it more powerful than maple/wolfram -- no. But those are EXPENSIVE and needlessly powerful for the kinds of questions which are asked here. :)
Ok, hold on, I'm setting up the demo.
yes maple is expensive, so i guess i meant wolfram alpha, but i would love to see it because with wolfram you have to guess what to enter
\[Hey, \ satellite \ I \ learnt \ some\ functions\ in\ latex\]
If you go to college mathematica=free :D And there is absolutely no "guesswork"...?
id be up for a demo on the program it seems interesting
Malevolence -- not true. Not all colleges have a license for mathematica.
Well, mine does.
Would you mind doing this demo once again?
Hi Andras, sure. Are you online now?
Yes
I am updating my Java at the moment to install Geogebra. Some1 mentioned it to me before. My internet is really slow at the moment :(
Thank you for the demo, I will figure out how to use this.
hello krish \[\color{green}{\text{nice latex!}}\]
Don't you mean nice \(\color{blue} \LaTeX\) ? ;-p
