I can find the equation of a point slope line but I dont know how to graph it. ex.m=-4, (x1, y1) = (-2,3) y-3=-4(x+2). How do I graph this?

u know one point. for drawing a line u need 2 points.so for the other point substitue (say) x=0 and so u get y=1 . therfore the other point is (0,11) . now uhav 2 points plot the graph :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that is not what is shown as the answer in the book.... they show (-1,-1)... ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

err...which answer book r u talking about here ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the odds in the back of the book.... it says find equation then graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the equation found rite ? y-3=-4(x+2) ? so follow the steps i told u and get to plot the graph :)
