Triangle ABC has vertices A (-2,1), B (-4,-5), and C (-7.-2). Find the vertices of A´ B´ C´ after translating the triangle 3 units down and 3 units right?

When you translate a figure, it means sliding it to a new position. Translating Triangle ABC to the right (horizontally) changes the X-value in (x,y), and translating it down (vertically) changes the Y-value. Because it's being translated 3 units to the right, you add 3 to the X-value of each coordinate (-2+3, -4+3, and -7+3). To translate it 3 units down, you subtract 3 from the Y-value of each coordinate (1-3, -5-3, and -2-3). The new coordinates are called A prime, B prime, and C prime, but are written as A', B', and C'.

A(1,-2) B(-1,-8) C(-4,-5)
