Career Help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I always took computers as my major subject in school, I studied computer physics and chem till grade 10th, and I took Computer studies, physics and maths as my major subjects in high school. Because I always wanted to become a computer engineer, and always wanted to study computers. I've recently completed my high school, and now I feel that I might not be able to carry computers any more, and I've sort of started taking interest in Accounts and Finance, and now I feel that I should take up Accounts and Finance, for my under-graduation / bachelors course, should I?

As I have never ever studied commerce, accounts or finance before, and I have no base to the subject, but I'm kinda inclined towards it. Would the under- graduation course 'd provide me with the base or the basics of the subjects? Or was it was necessary that I'd take commerce subjects in my high school? Please help, I'm really perplexed.

First of all if you are not sure there are career that offer little of moth. i'm not sure which one's thought. But if you are going to college, start by taking an Associates degree in something similar that interest you. Also Counselor are there to help you, go to any college counselor, doesn't matter if you attend it or not. The counselor would be able to guide you towards something that you like. Or try searching online(didn't help me) to find a test that best describes what your career should be like. I took similar classes in high school Computers, Math, Science, Accounting, history, civics. But now i'm going to college to major in CJ (Criminal Justice) which is totally different but has little of everything.
