How to factor x^3+2x^2-13x+10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The long had way to do it is all the factors of the constant over the factors of the leading coefficient. So try long division with (x-1)(x-2)(x-5)(x-10)(x+1)(x+2)(x+5)(x+10) Which ever gives you a ZERO remainder is a factor. So you'll get a binomial times a quadratic. Then factor the quadratic.

Try (x-2)(x-1)(x+5). This is the factored form. But do the division to convince yourself this approach works.
