Which quadratic equation has a vertex of (0, 5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2+5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can't make a quadratic equation with only one coordinate point. unless i'm mistaken.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can hav infinite parabolas havin (0,5) as the vertex :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u giv us the options u hav and then we'll let u know which option is right. PS:just substitute the point (0,5) and choose the option :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess i should say \[y=x^2+5\] is an EXAMPLE of a quadratic with vertex at (0,5) so is \[y=-x^2+5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but you do not have too many choices since if vertex is (0,5) it must look like \[y=ax^2+5\]
