How can you tell which way the current flowing in a wire loop flows at any rate?

You could put a galvanometer and check the current direction :P

There are two groups whose definition of the direction of current that has caused confusion. There are those who consider current direction as the direction of electron flow, or negative to positive. Then there is the "conventional current" direction who consider the direction from positive to negative. And as luck would have each have their on left hand rule or right hand rule for determining direction of magnetic field etc.
