Question

I use windows 7 64bits RAM installed 4G but it show use only 2.8G. Could any one show me how resolve it?

check BIOS to know whether the RAM is recognized by your system.
(entering bios is system bios specific, check internet to know how to enter your bios by checking with your motherboard/laptop model)
Do you hear some beep while......turning on your system....
check for memory sharing for graphics too...

for the BIOS i already to do it just see the side of RAM can not do any thing

what I meant was BIOS display ..... you see a screen (blue/white) just after switching on your system.....that is bios screen .....you can access it by pressing delete/F4/F1 keys.......Don't do any thing in it if you are not sure of what you are doing. it will result in hanging up of your system...... consult some expert(in hardware)

Your Laptop might not support more than 2.8 GB of Ram or it takes 1 GB for onboard gfx.

I think yes. I'm using HP G42 with i3 processor. It's more than sufficient for my applications.

Sounds like you have Window 7-32bit installed and not 64bit OR, your laptop might be stealing some of the RAM for video graphics since it might not have a dedicated video card.

As the friends say can be the video graphics, try downloading the program "Speccy" and analyze the section of RAM!

you maybe using a 32 bit operating system.
Install 64bit ,it will solve your problem
