Using pythagoras theorem Square on the hypotenuse (in this case the diagonal) = sum of the square of the other two sides. So square the side, double it, and then get the square root of it 14x14 = 196 196 x 2 = 392 \[\sqrt{392}\]= 19.8 to one decimal place
