ok... Using colored tiles a teacher has designated the follwing values for the first few primes; a red tile is worth2 ;a yellow worth 3;blue is worth5 and a green worth 7. What example can you give the class about why it is not possible to determine the numbers and colors of tiles if 1 is considered to be a prime number and assigned a value?

If a set of tile is taken, and the teacher give the total sum of their value, there is a unique decompoisition of prime for that sum. However, if 1 is considered prime, that decomposition can no longer be unique. That an example why 1 is not prime.
