so f '(x) of f(x)=cos(x) would be -sin(x), right? So once that's graphed, what common function would seem to fit the graph?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

got no idea what that means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nor I, quite awkward wording.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

any options to choose from?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

sin(x-pi) maybe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no options to choose from. sin(x-pi) would essentially be the same graph, but I'm not sure what is meant by common function when referring to the graph.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

me either, fill it in and see if it yells at you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wish I could, this one is handwritten alas :[ I'll ask my prof in class. As long as the inverse and the graph are correct, should be fine.
