Determine n(A) n(B) P(A) P(B) P(A|B) P(B|A)
its a Venn Diagram.. 40 is A in one circle 80 is B in another one. and 10 in Both..
like this?
yea...:)
so i have to determine the following i posted..
total is 130; for the probability stuff
would that be the one that have a P in front of them?
yes :) n(A) = 40+10 = 50 n(B) = 80 + 10 = 90 P(A) = 50/130 P(B) = 90/130 P(A|B) = ? P(B|A) = ? A given B terminaology I gotta look up to refresh meself
are you a ex teacher? cuz you seem to know your stuff great.
im a student, getting my degree in math :) \[P(B|A)=\frac{P(AnB)}{P(A)}\]
thats kewl. :)
I am going to school for cyber crime investigator and I HAVE to take these math classes.. which I am completely STUPID in..
P(AnB) = 10/130 P(B|A) = 10/130 -------- = 10/50 50/130 P(A|B) = P(AnB)/P(B) = 10/90
well, you might wanna reduce these fractions :) n(A) 50 n(B) 90 P(A) 5/13 P(B) 9/13 P(A|B) 1/9 P(B|A) 1/5
ok
