OpenStudy (anonymous):

soup ordinarily priced at 2 cans for 33 cents may be purchased in lots of 1 dozen for 1.74 what is the savings per can

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

2 cans = $0.33 4 cans = $0.66 6 cans = $0.99 .... 12 cans = ???? Once you find that, compare it with $1.74 / 12 vs ??? / 12 Hope this helps. :)

OpenStudy (radar):

If you made 6 purchases at the ordinary price (12 cans) it would cost $1.98 versus the $1.74 for the lot of 1 doz. That is a saving of a whopping .24 (24 cents) for the 12 cans or a savings of 2 cents a can. Which means you may have to eventually get rid of them as they pass the expiration date!
