what is the derviative of 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The derivative of a constant is always 0. Since the derivative of a function is the slope of the tangent line, imagine the function f(x) = 2. This is a horizontal line through the y-axis at 2. The slope of that line is always 0.
