x^2+7x+2=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use same formula as satalite told u in last question of urs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in this one the "middle term" 7x has an odd coefficient, so it is best just to use the formula \[x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

be careful with the signs under the radical. it is best two write out a, b, and c at the beginning via a = 1 b = 7 c = 2 then you will know what to substitute in the formula

-7+-square root of 41/2

looks right to me!
