Explain what it means for two triangles to be similar. Given a triangle ABC and points X e AB and Y e AC such that XY and BC are parallel, show that in Euclidian Geometry ABC is similar to AXY. Draw a diagram to illustrate your argument. Does your proof rely on Euclid’s Parallel Postulate? Is the conclusion true in hyperbolic geometry?

Similar, means, it could be that same shape but one could be big && oone could be small.
