two storage sheds are to have the same area. one is square and one is rectangular. The rectangular shed is 4meters wide and 9meters long. How large is one side of the square shed in meters?

4x9= 36. Sqaureroot of 36= 6 therefore the shed has sides of 6 as the areas must equal.

36 is the area given by 4 x 9 = 36 then to find the square just square root it
