If f(x) = 5x^2 and g(x) = radial 2x what is the value of ( f{degrees} g)(8). I know its confusing but the f has a little degrees symbol above it.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its really (f o g)(8); or rather f(g(8))

OpenStudy (amistre64):

or maybe I should read the question thru lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

'radial 2x' is new to me; what level math?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

trig

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and for that first response.. its like that but the little o thing is above

OpenStudy (amistre64):

id assume you still use 8 in place of x, but would have to look up the radial bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I'm still confusedddddddd

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is a radial function another name for polar coordinates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i cant find any reference to that type of notation ... so i cant give you a cogent reply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks anyways
