Assuming you mean \[e ^{x}/e ^{x}\], any number, or function, divided by itself becomes 1.
Well, any number or function except those that evaluate to 0. 0/0 is undefined. :)
no, i mean e^x * e^x
When you multiple two of the same bases together, you always add their exponents together....
they have the same base so add the exponents e^(x+x)=e^(2x)
