you need to think about every question for a while first

first question might take an hour... but every question after that will usually take less time as long as its the same kind of question

my first assignment took me about 30 hours this semester - 5hrs a day for 5 days... and that was only 6 questions

even when you might say 'oh i dont need to know it cause it wont apply to me after i leave school'

doesn't matter, cause it teaches you how to recognise patterns... which can be used almost anywhere!

sure you wont need to know what the area of a certain part of the pie is but thats not the point..

the point is that it applies to you right now, this instant, not any amount of years later when you still have to get through this year.

yea i use geometry in a way of me not thinking not on paper. i know my shapes , just not in a way with numbers in it. i cook absoultey good , as to what people say so thats what where im heading

yea a friend of mine just took alg 1 for all his high school years and is becoming a director for movies thats what really made think wow, dont really need all the hard stuff. Alg 1 was pretty easy. cos it helps you in all that sort of bills , payments and checks etc . dont think geometry will help me more if i dont have a clue how to do it

i do alot but i dont want to have to take a subject and just fail it because i dont know it. everyone is different. like i suck in math, however very smart in English. even tho i wish i could be smart in math as well, but that will never happen ever in my life

what are you like 15? at primary/high school level, every kid who goes can get good marks in maths its just a matter of how much effort you put in not how smart you are.

no of course im not 15 nor under. i just need one more semester of high school since im graduating a semester early. yea i remember when i tried to do that. studied for a math test for alg 2 and failed it miserably. Got a D on it. i studied so hard just to get a D. Thats why im not good what so ever

at the risk of telling you what to do though, you should ask people about the questions you ask so you can understand them...

that will count and be better than just study by yourself (cause i know when i get stuck - i just ask a friend)

As easy as it sounds for you, not so easy for me, some people say this is how you do it , yet still dont understand how they got the answer , to me math is like a confusing riddle that does not make sense
