The foreign polocy og Germany therefore from 1933 to 1945 was based on total war that had the aims of firstly over ruling the Treaty of Versailles and gaining lost land, gaining land from neighbouring countries on a broadly Nationalist agenda , Suddetenland Austria etc., lebensraum, the land needed for the German race to expand.
