What's the difference between of and off? where do u use of and where off? I'm really confused....O.o

Of is like: 'Of all the people I know, you are the sweetest.' Off is like: 'Turn off the damn light, I'm sleepy.' Of is used in math a lot 'Ten of these things are similar, while half of these things go in the other basket.'
