"From ancient grudge break to new mutiny." What type of poety would this be called? (allusion, alliteration, metaphor, or refrain)

poetry * o.o

It definitely isn't alliteration, that words that sound alike strung together IE "All Alliteration Aside.." I believe its allusion. It's giving a hint at the future.

It isn't alliteration, because the beginning sounds of the words aren't repeated (like in Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers) It isn't metaphor, because a metaphor compares two unlike things. Ex. your smile is sunlight. It isn't a refrain, because that is a repeated line or stanza, like the chorus of a song. An allusion usually refers to another piece of writing or a past event. This line is using foreshadowing to hint at what will happen. However, if you have to choose out of these options only, I would say allusion is your best bet.

This is not poetry. I don't remember what you call it when you ask what it would be of those choices. But I know it's not poetry. I am a poet/songwriter/novel writer. (:
