please show work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please reply!!!!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

arcAD = 80; angAOB = 100 arcAB = 100; angC = 50 arcABD = 100+80 = 180 , and its a chord thru the center soo andBAO = 40 since 40+100 +x = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show the work?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

not really since this isnt a graphic interface

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there any work?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

central angles sweep out equal measures of arcs inscribed angles sweep out an arc that is double.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

follow that measures from 1 to the end ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

amistre64 can you explain more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show the work more instead of just the answers

OpenStudy (amistre64):

not really, thats as basic as I can state it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

40 creates 80 80 creates 80 in the center 80 + 100 = 180 100 center creates 100 arcwhich creates a 50 angle ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean my creates

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like where do you get the 100 from

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i mean that when I draw in here to show any work it doesnt really translate well into text :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the hundred comes from the other part of the 180 that the 80 is attached to

OpenStudy (amistre64):

inscribed angles produce arcs of 2x their measure center angles produce arcs of equal measure....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and the measures are inverses of each other so that if you know one you can get to the other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok how about for #12? how do you get that

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since you have a chord going straight thru the center of a cirlce; that divides it in half. 360/2 = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it supposed to be 180 or 280?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

depends on your definition of half of a circle i spose. id go with 180 meself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

amistre64, i have a couple more similar questions....ill write them as new questions so i can medal you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9) AD=twice time angle 1= 80 I was wrong number 9

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since <1 = 40; arcAD = 2(40) = 80 since arcAD = 80, arcAB = 100 since arcAB=100, <AOB = 100 since arcAB = 100, <C = 100/2 = 50 since <1=40, <AOB = 100; and triangles add up anlges to 180, that leaves 40 left for <BAO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10) m<AOB = 180 - 80 m<AOB = 100

OpenStudy (amistre64):

write em up :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11) arc AB =< AOB =100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12) 180+100=280

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13) <acb= 1/2 ARC AB = 100/2 = 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14) m<BOA + m<1+ m<BAO = 180 100 + 40 + m<BAO = 180 m<BAO = 180 -( 100+40) = 180- 140 m<BAO = 40
