4x^3/3x*14/3

can you use parenthesis on that please, it looks quite confusing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\left(\begin{matrix}4x ^{3} \\ 3x\end{matrix}\right)\times \left(\begin{matrix}14 \\ 3\end{matrix}\right)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(56/9)x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since it is multiplication just multiply straight across: (14)(4)(x^3) / (3x)(3) => (56)(x^3)/(9)(x) => now pretend that the coefficients are not there and do x^3/x. Subtract the exponents (3 - 1) to get x^2. So the answer is 56x^2 / 9 or (56/9)(x^2).
