This puzzle was found on mathnerds.org and I've not been able to solve it. Perhaps someone here has an idea... Form the value 100 by combining several copies of the digit 6 with mathematics operations. The original puzzle said use only four 6's. The person who answered had a solution using six 6's. Here are my solutions so far... ((66 - 6) / 6) ^ 2 which has only four 6's, but uses squaring (involving a symbol 2), and also uses concatenation (66) which may not be valid in terms of the problem. Oops -- out of space -- more solutions below.

Another solution, using seven 6's, replaces the symbol 2 by (6+6)/6, as follows: ((66 - 6)/6) ^ ((6+6)/6) A third solution, using six 6's, and avoiding concatenation operation, involves factorial, and is (6 - (6/6)) * (6! / (6*6)) Any others? What if we use integration of a polynomial?
