what are the types of chloroplast?
To my knowledge plants only contain one type of chloroplast but i may be wrong, i many study human biology
is chlorophyll a type of chloroplast??
5 types of chloroplast
Chlorophyll is in the chloroplast, gives it the green colour. @Tanushree; didnt know there were 5, whats the differences??
Chloroplasts are organelles found in plant cells and other eukaryotic organisms that conduct photosynthesis. Chloroplasts capture light energy to conserve free energy in the form of ATP and reduce NADP to NADPH through a complex set of processes called photosynthesis. Chloroplasts are green because they contain the pigment chlorophyll.
Amyloplast Leucoplast
Chloroplasts are a specific type of "plastid" organelle. Like aks42 said, amyloplasts and leucoplasts are other types of plastids as well.
Hmm cool, im in the more human side of biology
exactly right.................
