This is a simple drawing and let y be the length that we will be using for the right triangle. y= 180 ft.- 12 ft. = 168 ft. Now since it's a right angle triangle, use SOHCAHTOA. You're given the angle and you found the opposite side. You just need the hypotenuse. So we use sin(25) = 168 ft. / x Rearrange and we get x = 168 ft. / sin(25) = 397.52 ft.
