Problem with the breaking of lines
Whenever I write a sentence and press enter if puts the lines together. It puts as much as it can on one line so if I'm lazy and decide to write a couple of equations it writes it altogether. For example, (i pressed enter here) solve for x: (i pressed enter here) x^2+5x+6=0 (i press enter) (x+3)(x+2)=0 (enter) x=-3 or x=-2 (enter and also put spaces between x=-3 and or and x=-2)
see the paragraph got ran altogether i put a bunch of line breaks in there so it was easy to read but it didn't work. :(
ok the spaces did work between x=-3 and or and x=-2 so pressing enter i guess doesn't count as spacing because and my next post it put altogether and i together lol
That's weird It seems to be okay with mine...
Oh, no it's not
:p
lol

jim is saying he sees the line breaks
Yeah i already reported the admins said they were working on that
Yep, sorry folks, we have one side bug we're trying to fix in another feature and then we'll get everything we've got on here, it includes a fix for this issue. In the meantime when typing equations, instead of \ [ \ ], you can wrap in \ begin{align} and \ end{align} and use \\ to create newlines. Still targeting a fix for this to sometime today. Sorry again.
mine either
This should now be fixed!
gj shadow you are the best
\begin{align} this is a test of the word wrapping feature of align\\ looks like it should be modified stll :)\\ \end{align} but yeah, lines are working again, thnx
Heh. Well, it was my fault too begin with O:-) Word wrapping in LaTeX isn't something we really support, sorry.
\begin{align*} &\text{Stuff} \\ &\text{Other Stuff} \\ &\text{Still more Stuff} \\ \end{align*}
