asked already? multiply \[7.4\times 5\] then add the exponents \[-9+-3\]
you get \[37\times 10^{-12}\] but it is not in scientific notation now, because \[37>10\] so you have to replace 37 by 3.7 and make the answer \[3.7\times 10^{-11}\]
3.5x10^-11is what ithought but that was not a choice.
the number out front should be 3.7
