how to be good in physics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just keep solving problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) Find a personal motivation. I love physics. I try to visualize every question to see how it relates to things I have observed. I found that making the subject personal made it fun. 2) Study hard. No cliche' intended. That means try to link concepts together. If you perceive math and physics as a bunch of formulas to commit to memory, you are missing the point. Every new concept is founded in what has come before it in your studies. Look for those connections to strengthen your understanding of what you have already learned and to find pathways to deeper knowledge. 3) Build a network of colleagues to learn from and to teach. When you teach someone elese, that is true understanding. Be open to be taught as well, that is richness of experience. 4) Review, review, review. Go back and re-take your tests. Re-do problems in your text over again. Do both of these whiule applying the first three habits above and you will start to enjoy the subject.

hello hello i find it very true in what you said but sometimes i really cannot visualize what is being said and i have a very hard time.. and math and physics are someone linked.. they're both giving me a hard time.. but when i understand something and not just barely memorizing, i find physics fun. but when i dont get certain theories or concepts i'll have an extremely hard and stressful time..

Take notes, pay attention. I went and got help from my teacher everyday. She always checked my work and told me what was going to be on the test the next day. I passed with an A-.
