OpenStudy (amistre64):
all sides are the same length
all angles are the same measure; 180/3 = 60
the area is s^2 sqrt(3)/4
stuff like that
OpenStudy (amistre64):
am i confusing iso with equilateral a little bit?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah that's what I thought. Lol
They aren't all the same
OpenStudy (amistre64):
2 sides are the same length for an iso tri :)
OpenStudy (amistre64):
2 angles will match and the 3rd will be 180 - the other 2

How do I express the perimeter of an isoseles triangle with side lengths x, 5x, and 5x retricea function of the side length?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
as .... not retrice :)
OpenStudy (amistre64):
5x + 5x + x = 11x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
omg that easy???
OpenStudy (amistre64):
as far as i can tell; perimeter still means add up al the sides right?

Yeah but it says as a function?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
it means as an equation with a term that can be used ...
OpenStudy (amistre64):
f(x) = 11x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh okay, tthe hardest part is understanding what they are asking for :)
OpenStudy (amistre64):
i agree lol ;)
