Oh, actually, there was something I didn't tell you...

You have to first factor out what is common to each term first in this case.... Four is common to each factor so.... 4(4x^2 - 4x - 3)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

--> 4(4x^2 +2x -6x -3) --> 4(2x(2x+1) -3(2x+1)) -->4(2x+1)(2x-3)

I wrote down +2 when I did this on paper and still wrote -2 on here. I hate that
