What are three other meanings of the following, and explain how to find them by looking at a graph. Domain: Range: I need a answer As soon as Possible. Thank YOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

range: as in free range cattle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain- short for dominate, which the free range cattle will soon do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hehehe

OpenStudy (nilankshi):

hmmmmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think domain represents set of x or the possible values of x and range represents the set of values of y...

Thank you

In the linear equation what is y for graph B? See the attachment Below.... I need help with physics.

In a function f(x)=x^2, x is the value that can be put into the function to produce x^2 (the function is like a machine that can produce a result called f(x) ) And the set of values that can be the value of x is called the domain. While, the set of values that is produced by the machine (the function) is called the range. Let's view it from the graph.|dw:1315224329800:dw| maybe it's not clear from the graph, but the domain of this function is x belongs to R(real numbers) while f(x) belongs to R+ (real positive numbers) Wish you like the answer!
