satellite73 is correct, and the explanation is similar to the one before. Cancel all but the highest powers, and since 2x is the highest power, you're left with 1/2x. As x goes to infinity, 1/2x becomes 1/infinity, which is 0.

or just think like a simpleton (as i do) if x was 1,000,000 you would have a big denominator and only a 1 in the numerator. so you end up with something like \[0.0000001\] about
