OpenStudy (liizzyliizz):

Lim [1/(x+1)]-1/x as x -> 0 since u cant directly subsitute, and u cant multiple by a conjogate. how would u solve it? I dont understand how the answer would be -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow 0} \frac{1}{x+1}-\frac{1}{x}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it diverges no?

OpenStudy (liizzyliizz):

no... \\[[[1/(x+1)]-1/ x\]

OpenStudy (liizzyliizz):

its over x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you draw it with the Draw tool ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/(x+1) converges, -1/x diverges
