Okay, my question is to name ALL the pairs of two non-consecutive ODD numbers which add to 16. I got 7 and 9 for one pair lol that's if I'm correct, now how would I solve to find others?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
if it says "non-consecutive" that is not right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay, well help me out, I'm confused on what is NON-consecutive?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
start with 1
1 and 15
3 and 13
etc
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
but, they are consecutive versus non-consecutive, correct?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
consecutive means one after the other
OpenStudy (amistre64):

you also might need negatives since the domain stated doesnt restrict it to positive integers alone
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay, elaborate on "one after the other"? why wouldn't 7 and 9 be one?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
They're back to back odd #s
