thats what it looks to me too but what else would get simplified? does anything happen to c^5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nothing for c^5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
since it's out the sqrt function
OpenStudy (anonymous):
c^5 should be inside the sq rt function
OpenStudy (anonymous):
c^5=c^4*C

sqrt(c^5) = sqrt(c^4*c)=c^2 sqrt(c)

I guess if c was to an even power you could divide it by two and put it outside like if it was to the fourth power you could move it outside of the square root as c^2

raheen's got the right idea
OpenStudy (anonymous):
if the power odd and >1 you may make even and 1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[3bc ^{2} \sqrt{2ac}\]
