How do you get teh equation 4x+3y+16 = 0 from y = -(4/3)x - (16/3) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply both sides by 3 3y=-4x-16 Move everything to one side (add 4x and 16 to both sides) 4x+3y+16=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3y = -4x-16 ==> y =-(4/3) x -(16/3)

Thanks both of you. :)
