Use the quadratic formula to solve 10x^2+10x+3=0

Btw these are not homework questions, just questions from my handout. Which I will base off my other questions on.

Quadratic equations are of the form \[ax^2+bx+c\]so\[a=10\]\[b=10\]\[c=3\]Therefore\[x=\dfrac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}=\dfrac{-10\pm\sqrt{10^2-4(10)(3)}}{2(10)}\]You can simplify that and you'll get your two answers for having either the plus or the minus before the square root.
